A lot of people think this is easy, well it's not I can tell you that. It would take me at least an hour to finish dotting in a certain part of the ocean which honestly was very tiring. But this artwork was inspired by the movie Finding Nemo which is one of my favorite children's movie ever. I decided to do nature since it helps me think and the colors in nature are beautiful. Nature art together really brings the smile out and creativity out when making your ideas pop.
This project is one of my favorites because it let's me adjust to change and work with other people with a different mindset than me. During the process of making this lipstick I cam across some problems like the size that I had versus the size that I needed. I eventually stuck with the size I had because I didn't have time to change but it still turned out better than we thought. I think I could do this again but next time by myself to see what I can do on my own. The makeup containers and brushes are suppose to give the product multiple labels without actually labeling it. Driving Question- How can we create something to represent Earth's beauty? This project had no meaning but it was fun anyway. I've had complications during this that I can learn from and adjust in the future. Even though this project was suppose to be non-representational I think this can bring calmness, or excitement to others who view it. There isn't really much to say except this project turned out better than expected thanks to observation and positive/helpful criticism.
This project has had many problems and solutions throughout the making but I managed to fix them and make it look like it was meant to be that way. Caribbean mountainset was an idea from both Mrs.Schumann and I. I originally wanted to draw a sun and use chalk but a sun is just a symbol so I chose mountains because when I hear the word landscape I think of mountains. Since I still wanted to do a sun I chose to combine both the sun and the mountains together and the visual would be above palm trees. The palm trees would be my foreground because I see the trees before my attention is focused on the "mountain set." My main trouble was getting the water color to look right but since I couldn't get it to look right I thought I could just use the more color parts as a cloud on top of another cloud to make seem darker. The black leaks represent the start of freedom. I had fun creating this piece, mixing two vibrate colors and being able to create both of my favorite ideas into one makes it more spontaneous. |
AuthorI love art, it helps me think and find out who I am as an artist. Art is a way for me to communicate with others without having to say anything. This page will let you understand who I am and how I think differently from others. Archives
