Getting out of your comfort zone and showing people what and how you got your ideas. Phil Hansen asked people to share their stories and he used their words to create an artwork. This means any idea that you have can be turned into art work, you can turn something small into something big. At the beginning of the video he talked about his shaky hands and him taking to someone about it, their opinion was embrace the shake, Embrace the Shake is basically Phil was nervous while painting and drawing so he took that and he turned fear into art work. I thought this video was helpful to others who loved art but thought it was not helping them improve and all the different types of things he has encountered to help him paint and draw even though he broke a bone he had fun and his work became really inspiring. During the video he mentioned him leaving art class because it was not working but later in his years he did art again and he didn't have certain tool so he used his hands and other materials he found or"stole" he used people stories to make a facial feature which he spent 6 days in his living room finishing his work. He concentrated on what he said he could not do and it turned out that he could he just didn't want to do it. http://www.vmccastudio.com/ "Learn the rules like a pro so you can break them like an artist" Pablo Picasso A) Their is no right or wrong answer in doing art.
